About Us

In 1988, Lasercraft's founders identified the potential of laser cutting in manufacturing and production. With selection of a laser system, Lasercraft, Inc. was founded.

Lasercraft’s first laser was purchased with the idea of offering more than just traditional flat laser cutting capabilities. The first laser system was custom fit with a CNC rotary, allowing the capability of cutting 3-dimensional parts while providing the flat cutting services. Lasercraft soon became known as a multi-axis laser cutting job shop.

Lasercraft’s commitment to investing in new technology continued in 1989 with the design and purchase of a second laser cutting system. Although the second machine was a flat laser, Lasercraft saw the need for the efficiencies of a 5 axis laser cutting system. In 1991, Lasercraft purchased their first 5 axis system. In 1993, Lasercraft purchased their second 5 axis laser cutting system to meet the growing needs of its customers.

Over the next 10 years, Lasercraft demonstrated commitment to pioneering new laser cutting technology with the purchase of seven more laser cutting systems. The diversification in the types of lasers purchased allowed Lasercraft to become a one stop job shop for its customers' entire laser cutting needs. To date, Lasercraft has four 5 axis lasers, six flat laser cutting systems, and one production tube cutting system.

Today, Lasercraft is proud of its position in the industry as one of the most technologically advanced laser cutting job shops in the Midwest. With the addition of a production laser tube cutting system, Lasercraft has been able to offer the additional efficiencies of this system, thus providing a quality part at a competitive price.

With 15 years of experience in the laser industry and 11 lasers between two facilities, Lasercraft prides itself as being “A Cut Above The Rest.”
